I'm on unpaid leave today! ha.. It was pretty uncalled for. The email came last night that i'm having a interview today i replied back to see if i could change it to friday instead but i didn't get any reply. Today i went work, check my mail, still no reply, then i noticed that my resume was actually forwarded to both singapore and malaysia, and the person that replied me was from malaysia. So i called and they told me that its advisable to go down for the interview today because the manager was around so yeah i submitted my leave online (which i could have done it at home, imagine the few more hours of sleep) and i left my work place, travelled back to the west side and went of the interview at toh guan road east with nothing but a semi formal handsomely dress-ed me. I didn't even bring my documents. It was really impromptu. Well.. i shall not talk more about the interview. Was pretty bad at first than it was pretty good but still lets wait for the follow up interview than i'll let you know okay. If i don't get the second interview than i mean, just forget it ha. Who knows right now yeah?

Anyway since i was at toh guan, i wanted to say hi to malcolm but that asshole is so busy even to come out of the building to say hi for awhile. ASSHOLE! Not refering to you but your sickening job. HITACHI ELEVATOR! KNNBCCB! ha. opps. Yeah since im at toh guan, i met my auntie for lunch too. We had fish&co. They are having a promotion. 1 for 1 Fish & Chips. CITIBANK CARD HOLDERS So me and my auntie we each ordered a fish and chip. I paid for it since she's always paying for me and well its pretty cheap. Two people eat $25.xx only.



Hmm.. yeah i went shopping at FOX. DBS CREDIT/DEBIT CARD 15% OFF Ha yeah.. well..

Kinda regretted not sticking with modelling since secondary school. I should have stayed to it.. Ha.

see my dinner for today ha. Tomatoes, lettuce and cucumber all raw. Damnit not very appetizing ha and im having trouble trying to finish my plate while i'm typing this away.

I wouldn't say it sucks. I'd just say i'm not used to it and man, i'll get used to it soon enough. From today onwards for a month, lucas says, no fried food!. Dinner is to be only vegetarian.

Well my dear friends, its healty lifestyle week ha so says king lucas.!

PS. I'm trying to start a blog where everybody get access to blog about the food they eat, they places that they want to intro for the other people out there, something like a forum, only that this is a managed by a smaller group of people, managed by you, me and a few other people who are interested. So do give me the support and i'll let you know when the blog will be up and you people can start posting whatever shits you all like. Food of cause.
Well i just thought everybody post about food once in awhile right? and wouldn't it better if you get everybody's post about food together, gather them so that you wouldn't have the trouble of blog hopping when you can just access them at one single blog? agree?

The movie 'Blindness'

I went to watch this movie today. I'm giving it a 4/5.
What you can expect for the show is something like the other shows to do with unexplainable incidents like the movie that was shown just recently about people jumping from building, losing themselves, people start dying and all, due to the trees talking to eat other, spreading some poisonous gases that corrupts human brains etc. Yes you can expect something like that on this show. -Global epidemic movie- they call it.

And yes. It reflects so much on reality that i wanted to get out of the threatre during the middle of the movie, just because i couldn't stand it anymore, it pains me to see what is happening when stuff like that happens, when the people from ward 3 start asking **for something** from people from ward 1 just for food. It reflects alot. As in if you really understand the movie and truely appreciates what its trying to what you, what god has for us, end of days etc. Realities like, for example, if you've seen the movie 'DARK KNIGHT', there's one part where that fuck ass joker put two ships of people together trying to prove that humans have a black heart and that people from the two ships will blow each other up but they didn't do it and proven joker wrong?.. Yes that's what i'm trying to say here. If you get the true meaning of what the movie is trying to tell you, that that is the reality, people are not appreciating nature, people are not appreciating one another, not treasuring one another when they should, not appreciating the power of sight when you have one.. yes please go watch it, it explores human natures, good or bad, people's selfishness, opportunism, indifferences, but also their empathy, love and sheer perseverance.

Though, i would say its a pretty draggy movie. Not as exciting as will smith's 'The legend' but i do assure you, its worth watching. It really proves how much oversea's productions is way way much better than Singapore's productions. Well i'm not trying to sound like im a traitor or what, but honestly i never like singaporean productions, the likes of rain tree productions, example 'I not stupid'. Yes i don't support it, you just can't put them compare to oversea's productions. Take horror movies for example, singapore can only come out with joker horror movies, take a look at Thailand's. I mean, there are times when english horror movies sucks, like the recast of the grudge, the eye etc. I'm being fair here. English recast movies are never to be compare to those of the originals from japan. And singapore's productions of reality tv, with a plot to show what is happening in society is really bad compare to those of english..

Just imagine if singapore is going to do a recast of james bond 007. Can you just imagine how hilarious it will be, having all the casts from liang po po acting in it?.. Liang zhi qiang, li guo huang and the other shortie guy(what is name?).

I'm sorry man. I'm not a supporter of local movies. I'm not even a big fan of chinese movies. So too bad alright.

Anyway. Do bear with this show, its really nice. Hang on to your gf, i mean, you know share abit of kisses or something if it gets boring but do enjoy the show like i did. Good weekend my dear friends!.

oh its M18. And.. DO BEAR WITH NAKED PEOPLE. FAT SKINNY. And the sex that's going on. HAHAHA.

I havn't change job yet.. prepared to go anytime though. Well.. i just can't take it anymore. Can't take the fact that i need to leave house so early, go there, wait.. wait.. wait.. just keep looking the the dumb clock to reach 5.30pm and go home. and then its another wait.. till 7 plus 8 than i get to reach home.. Sit down, get myself comfortable and not long after its strikes 10, and time for bed. I'm struggling with the school fees, 2 more months, and in 2 months i've got to save 4k at least and than borrow the rest of it from some one else. Its hard life man.. I just wish i die, every day at work i wish some thing happens, else i just wish i die, i just wish i sleep and wake up to see that its 5pm soon.

Some one said red doesn't suit him, just well.. ha. I love red. Imagine a red mazda roadster mx-5.




I went to this so-so restaurant at VIVOCITY on sunday. Its called HK Kim's Gary Restaurant. Its rather funny, they suppose to serve hong kong dishes but when you there's this 'Ireland french fries' just at the entrance of the restaurant. Well, wait till you see the menu, you'll be shocked.

Due to bad experiences from Xin Wang, i wasn't quite impressed with its menu, seeing that its got shanghai this korean that.. come on, how good can your hong kong dishes be then, you've got this got that, don't expertise and say its a hong kong restuarant.

Well, to my surprise that was just my initial thoughts. I ordered a

Nissin noodles with fried pork chops.




Peanut thick toast with condensed milk.


Spicy fries.


The bill.


It's not very expensive. Well damnit. Its cheap ha.. I mean you go xin wang eat noodles the same one, maybe lets say erm.. 8plus 9 bucks? This one tastes really good i would say. Recommend you to try, and the restaurant have this hong kong mushroom rice, i nearly wanted to try it cause over at hong kong, i never eat it before. The thick toast, IS REALLY THICK!. Compared to full house, full house sells peanut thick toast with hershey chocolate sauce, full house one is good, this one over here is good as well, the only thing is, this one here, IS REALLY THICK!!@!@!@!. Hahaha.

As for the fries, we eat lesser than 10 stripes and we dao bao, dao bao, throw away. If you get what i mean.. and the fries, $3.50. Unless your like me, rich enough to throw $3.50, else don't even order it. I know its tempting to try but please, i rather you go opposite, burger king or carls. NICER.

I've made a promise that i'll go to bed at 10.30 from next week on and 11pm if i have school. To sit infront of the TV and watch what's happening to the market. To read newspaper every single day. To wake up at 6am in the morning and watch channel news asia. To leave house at 6.45am on time. I'm to stock 'Men's Folio' every month and.. well.. FHM? ha. oh com'on, don't deprive me.

I do hope i keep my promise. One day i want to be able to pay all the utility bills in my house and i will do it soon. I want to be a real man. I'm 23. Not young anymore. $1.8k isn't enough and what other better way to work it up to the top other than to do sales?. I will strive. One day.. Just one day. My car will come. My posh sports car. My condo. My lovely girlfriend. My mum.. My country club cards. Banks calling me to open a bank account with them etc. That day will come. That's my promise to myself. Hmm.. lucas. I'm going to just talk to myself abit. I know yesh, your probably laughing already. This is hilarious. I'm going to talk about MARS & VENUS~!~~ NUS NUS NUS~. (voice trailing off).

Well not exactly mars. Just want to share some thoughts and experiences. Correct me if i'm wrong guys.

Girls:
-They say they don't mind this, you not having a car, they don't mind that, not bring them to a posh resturant and having them showing their new dress to other girls, yes they say they don't mind. BUT!, they never say that when you do, its better! Ha yes, so do bring your girlfriend out once in awhile though, not to the limit of spoiling them that they start sucking it out of you and starts being whine-y about dirty coffeeshops.

-Yes they are fat (and to those who aren't but still say they are, come on, your just being that typical bimbo.), and yes they know they are. Don't; i say again don't tell them they are! Don't bullshit and tell me its the fact, you know you are, and you aren't hurt at all, not even like a single bit. Well.. guys, let them know being fat isn't the end of everything, its not the looks, and obviously you had love them for who they are, there are people fatter than them, who can't move a single bit basically cause they are just too fat to do so, let them know there are fat people out there depriving of love when your girl is having so much of it from you, make her fly. Let them know that when they themself know they are fat, its a very good start. Tell them you can help them, stay with them, work out with them. Encourage them. Sign up for stupid shit programs with them. Best even, pay for it if ur rich enough. Let them know not only they themself care about their beauty but you do as well.(well to those who keep saying they are fat and aren't doing anything about it. Good luck to you losers than.)

-Basics of a gentlemen. Pull their chairs for them at a posh restaurant. Open the car door. Smile and wave good bye or hello. Give a hug. A kiss on the cheeks. Push open the bloody heavy steel door for them. Let them go ahead of you up a bus or the esculator so that they don't fall, support them if they fall, and especially if they are wearing miniskirts etc, please protect them from praying eyes. OH YES, please.. please.. say hi to her friends. Smile. Say a joke.. Treat a drink. Please do that.

-Girls likes to be pampered. Give in to her. Let her win. Let her smile over it thinking she's the best thing when your there being "heehee whatever.". Be good boy and you'll get the kiss later. It doen't kill you. Give her the full attention when she's talking to you. Obviously she's going to have this long bitch about something, give in to her, look at her, 'hmm' and 'yah'.. 'oh really?' 'but i don think..' this and that blah blah. Let her know your interested in what she's going to say. Laugh about it if its nothing serious, keep quiet and zip if it is, and if know a arguement is coming, please find some place quiet, start throwing cans at each other, pillows or whatever, kiss and make up or whatever your going to add to that. (who knows..) and yes.. i know guys i know.. the thing about keeping your eyes to her eyes... and not some where else. Not her boobs, or some maggie Q or dawn yang that just happens to walk and you some how spot them from the side of your eyes(what kills you? to turn for 5 secs at some other girl who you don't know and have an arguement about it with your girl or skip that 5 secs and have some peace and quiet from your girl?). Yes, as i guy i know this is very very hard. I mean, being a guy, our radar system is like running at pentium 5, if you get what i mean, higher than the lastest technology. Just do learn to accept how boys go about like how we are trying to accept that your the you, girl, you :D

-Girls who say eee, teddy bear. So teenage life. Bullshit, my man, just give it to her.. So is flower, they say fake one better, another bullshit too. You drop them a fresh one, you see them planting it up in a vask nicely, change water everyday so the flowers don't die off so easily. You give them a fake one, they leave it there, end of story. Soon after, dust collects, very soon after dumped. Have some fun you know, ever watch this movie about two american football teams, one coach uses the very traditional basics and the other a new creative and trendy one. Who won? Old basics. Yes.. They might say so lao tu(old fashioned).. I'm not here asking you to do it everytime, no, lucas is here telling you that you shoudn't just keep thinking of the new ones, why crack your brains?. Simple and sweet can just kill as much the way a new one can. Trust me.

-oh yeah. other thing. If your really interested in her, do pay attention to whatever she says and remember it. Stuff like, this outlet the food is nice, what drinks she like, what kind of dresses she goes for, what are her dreams.. Play around with it, give her that little bit by little bit, shocked her into thinking you care and that you've really put her interest in you heart. Birthday's don't forget. Her's friend's birthday and your invited as a couple. The day your suppose to go shop for present with her. Stuff like that.. Please do remember. 2 teaspoons of sugar to every cup of coffee. Which seats she always prefer on the bus, her bad habits that she doesn't even realise. Yes i meant every single little thing, all the small small ones especially and i mean it. Please do take note.

-window shopping. She starts to slow down outside certain stores, though she's not going in, please do bring her in for a walk. She'd end up trying something for sure.

Hmm.. i shall go touch on flirting now.

-Very first steps of flirting. Winking, whispering, basics of holding the waist, elbows, pulling of hands, accidental brush with the nipples.. Come on la.. Don't bluff. The moment he touches you feel something, unless your always being touch that you don't find it un-nerving anymore. I mean i don't get touch often so it becomes something more when some one of the opposite sex starts to stand near you, brushing your shoulders and the both of you keep knocking hands that you just wish to hold her hands so as to stop the knocking. You start whispering to her.. Making her blush infront of her friends. Having your private conversation.

-Kissing good bye. HEllo, it doesn't mean anything if you start kissing everybody. Your just like a typical american. Its in the tradition to hug and kiss, nothing more than that. What i'm trying to say is cherish it. You kiss kiss everybody then where's the fun in it anymore?..

-Ahh the other thing. dates. You kiss kiss fine. Stop awhile boy. Let her mind go wild. Let her think on the bus home, or when she's home bathing, like "why didn't he kiss me today? what's wrong?" yes boy. In short, leave her hanging. (but i do warn you. there are girls out there smarter than you are, don't play them and end up they playing you back. back fire i call it.) Dig her interest and then give her more. Do something more the next time. (heehee)

-Guys. Do know when to stop. Its not easy to know but when she's serious, do stop. Your playing it wrong and she doesn't like it. But its different on bed though. It depends. You see her crying, stop. Slow down ask why etc. You see her saying stop but moaning away. Don't be a jackass and pull up your pants. Asshole. Do practise control. Understand your girl. Some girls like it that you go in the store and shop with them, give them opinions. While some just prefers you waiting outside. Some girls say they don't like this that, but they actually want it and they don't even know. Some girls really know what they want, they don't want means don't want. Test water once and don't anymore.

Girls are really hard to understand. I'm here writing shits. I might be right, i might be wrong. Come on, i'm not a girl. I wouldn't know exactly how i would like to be treated. Often enough, we have to always put ourselves in another's shoes. And i bet girls, are out there thinking that they don't understand their guys too. I mean that's the way it is. Just like accidents, we can only minimise it but we can't stop it.

I still believe that getting some one isn't hard enough. Its just how much effort you put in, how much time you will spend, how persistent are you, Years.. Millions of dollars?. No girls like a stingy guy, that one i'm pretty sure.. Girls want to see the effort, want you to prove that your different from the rest of them, that your special and one of a kind, if you've got them thinking that, yes they love you already. good job.. You just need some planning and poking the right direction. Lead her on. Make her come to you.. Come out with a flawless plan and you'll have your way, and when you do, being the typical guys, being the usual us. ITS TIME, to let loose and be ourselves ha. Time to show everything out. I can stick one one friend, or 2-3 close friend but now, i'm exploding. My friends are all around now.

I do so wish i don't care. That i don't care whats is going around but i can't.
I wanted to give friendship a chance, to get you out and talk to you, bring everything out and make things clear but it ended worse.
I'm sorry that i have been busy and that i haven't been catching up with you, that i don't know where you are at. How you've been doing at home etc.
Don't tell me your disappointed that i didn't know you and that i didn't trust you cause all the things that its happening, what people do, i don't understand anymore. People change. I did, you did too.. tell me what am i suppose to believe in? Even you, never understand that i do want to settle down. I just kept quiet when you said, you don't see me as the kind that will settle down. Well i tell you now, i want to, I just haven't find the right one. I'm looking and looking. All this you don't know.. I just can't believe that when i gave in everything, i tried to makes things all nice and stuff i don't get anything in return or that i even see no hope or future in anything, and now that when i don't do all this, I'm being blamed for it. I complained to you about my shit job, you said why didn't i even talk to you about it first, and when i did, consult you that i wanted to change my course of study, you said you wasn't my girlfriend and that why should i even talk to you about it.. Yeah girls are a bitch. You said it yourself, what else do you want me to say?..

I was at Zouk with mingwei yesterday. Yes, just the two of us. Apparently malcolm isn't free, and no, he's not home making babies cause i actually called him and asked him to come join us. He's at girlfriend house yes but he say not making baby :P

Its been long since i met mingwei, if i haven't know that he's not doing well and i asked him if he needed to come out talk and chill or something i guess i don't know when i'll see him too. Anyway i bump into so much friends again. Damnit. Everytime lucas go party sure to bump into friends, i know i know.. but this time different ha. I bump into jolynn and yuen wen on the bus. Apparently they know each other through banquet ha. So nice to see them all dressed up, doll-ed up and in black dress, ready to go all out to have fun at Double O. I bump into james too, my BMT friend at Cine while waiting for mingwei. Heard from him that he's going australia to study next year on for two years and he was asking why that time meeting i didn't go, cause only two people never go, one is zhen liang the other one is me, and they started classifying the both of us together for not going. Damnit why put me together with him, i was sick that's why i never go :(

And the original plan was just to go clark quay and chill but due to some stuff, we went to zouk instead. Wine bar was so damn packed, no table. I'm not giving an excuse to end up at the club but original intentions were to just drink and we did, only just drink ha. Although we did it in a club instead of a bar. Hello, only with lucas do you control yourself like that ok, drink means drink no dance, no hitting on people, oh wait. i'm bullshit, i can even hit on the waitress if i want, i mean i hardly club what and i'm very sure of it ha. I'm good boy(yeah right~).. Ming wei lah, he say citibank free entrance and the contradicting part was that they set up a 'Citibank car holders Priority Que, before 1am'. See the thing, it says before 1am. So we thought like the free entry was still on, and we went in, the lady let ming wei although she's not suppose to, she's nice, she told mingwei 'Only this time ok?.' well i know its bullshit but still very nice of her :) i was searching for my IC cause its at this pocket of my wallet where all the other cards are and she didn't want to wait for me but she ask how old am i, i said i'm 23 and she ask to see my IC man.. so?.. I'm younger or older? wth. End up i take out my 11B, cause easier to pick out. hmm. well.. the shit thing was we were in, then the person ask for my card and they ask if we pay seperate or together, i was still quite blur, and no, we haven't started drinking at all, and guess what? she started swiping my card on the machine and (whistles) that's it, $35 bucks ha. Asshole. ha. Well.. Fine then.











We came out at two, i suggested it, cause we were both raising our voices so loudly that we losing our voice already since we were really inside to just talk it out and babe watch (not bay watch). Gosh i went NO SIGN BOARD restaurant again today. Man i'm so sick of seafood already i'm having phobia of crabs..

Anyway my cousins where shopping for shoes for graduation dinner cause they sec4 already. O's are coming. Kind of think of my O's ha. I don't know how cousin larry is going survive since he's just scoring a C5 off every subject.. I mean man.. its pretty hard. I did well mainly cause i scored A1 for all subjects besides language. Getting a C5 for chinese and a B3 for english. Even though he wants to study hospitality and tourism but its cut off points is quite high too. Jia you my boy! Ya.. So they were shopping for shoes and like i've told you before or anyone who knows me well enough, i have the tendency to buy stuff when everybody else is buying too, its like join in the fun or something ha. I hardly shop my own, if i do, i hardly buy. I'll wait till some one else wants to buy some thing too then we buy together. When you buy with some one else you don't get to think so much, you buy it together and that's it. End of story. Ha so yes i bought a shoe too. My cousins all bought some nike diesel or adidas thingy and i bought this i don't really care, or know wtf brand it is. I just picked the one nicest out of the shop. I actually picked one costing 159 but.. too expensive. Heart pain so never buy. The one i bought, $40 bucks only ha. Its a Fred Perry look-a-like. Brandless though. Oh anyway.. got this girl, she thought that i'm an assistant there and i had a laugh and told her no, she mistaken. Haha. So funny. Do i look like assistant to you?. Damnit.

Da Gu (big uncle) is going overseas to work, extra 5k allowance, for two years. He gathered almost everyone today and gave us a treat to No Sign Board (Vivocity). I don't really know about him but it felt really bad to me, leaving his wife, and 4 kids behind. Although he gets to come back every month for meeting and he brings around 15k home each month, not including yearly bonus-es(he get like 6mth bonus in total, 1 month more than me.).
Anyway .. to talk about the restaurant. I give the food 4.5/5 but i would rate the service only 2.5/5 considering that i always have to ask them to constantly refill our tea and the basic stuff like clearing your plates for you and exchanging it with a new one when its filled, with like for example prawn shells, crabs shell etc. Yeah to me its the basics of any restaurant. Probably your running short on staff, fine. At least do bother to get your manager to come and ask if the food is ok, apologise if theres any unsatisfied customer, compliment a dessert or something. Bring in some samples of new food that the restaurant is promoting. I mean come on, thats common sense. Customer service right, don't care if the customer is rich, don't care if he's a regular, and obviously don't care if he's chinese, english, malay, black, white, skinny or fat. Famous or not, treat them fairly. We came in when there's nobody at all, filled up two of ur tables, do we not deserve some lets say - 'small talk'?

Anyway i highly recommend the butter crabs, 5/5. You can even lick the shell if you want, cause the taste of the butter is so irresistable. And if you love crabs, i'd introduce you another slighly cheaper restaurant which is 'Long beach', they have one at East Coast Park along the stretch of restaurants. Do try their 'pepper crabs' & 'chilli crabs' and also 'buttered cereal prawns'.

Eat not for the sake of living, but for the pure enjoyment of how/who its prepared for you, and of cause. There's a story behind every dish, the hard work behind it, spare some time to understand it, savour it.
