THE 'SLICE OF LIFE'

Today is a friday Woohoo! I'm so tired now. Meet my friend for dinner at town, went to walk around. Shop for formal clothes, shoes etc.. then i had the craving for ice creams cause dinner sucked and i don't want to have anything heavy. Just some thing to satisfying my itchy mouth. Anyway we walked pass swensens and there was such a long que so i suggested going to this new place at Far East. I saw it the other day while i was going to the toilet there. Its a new open stall. Pretty decent. Ambience is pretty nice too just that, probably lacking of some nice songs and all. Its not a very big place but they are quite enthu about their publicising. Anyway here's the outlet address

#01-20 far east plaza (if you see long john, you will see the stall)
14 scotts road
singapore 228213

Their blog address (yes they have one. for customers to post their photos taken.)
slice.sg <---= (just click here)

If you have facebook, you can join their club, its named - "sweet slice of life" currently 200+ people, they are trying to hit 1000 so yeah im here to sell 'ko york'.

Brief introduction of this stall. "NO", the hot guy there would tell you loudly. And yes no, they don sell ice cream, they sell sliced ice.
New concept? Not really but well theirs work out fine i suppose. The stall is still packed at the late timing we went just now, Gelare was closed already even. ha. Alright, like it says.. sliced ice. I would say its a brillant concept, the ice doesn't melt as fast like what you would expect of a normal ice cream and the ice is so thin and soft that you don't have to bite it. Just place it in your mouth and let it melt inside while you tongue is playfully crushing it down, squeezing its flavor out. Yes, i mentioned flavor and if your thinking its just ice, i mean, ice made from plain water, yes your right too. BUT!. If your there just look at the menu, which they are so willing to give you one or two and let you take it home or even throw it away(like the guy suggested ha.), the menu shows pictures of 9 different kinds of toppings.

I would suggest it if your craving for some thing new to try out and at the same time chill with your friends. Its not expensive stuff. I wouldn't say its cheap but its more like 'affordable'?. Ha. Anyway hope you enjoy guys and do email me or tag me about it if you like. Thanks :D
